Theatre Whakatane is very proud of the shows that we produce. Audience members regularly comment on the quality of the experience. Along with the many talented people that you see on our stage, there is whole other world going on behind the scenes. The lighting and sound teams are busy throughout the entire show making sure that the audience gets the whole experience. Getting the sound and lighting right can make or break a show. To do this requires a lot of expensive technology. Without the amazing support from Trust Horizon helping us buy this equipment, we would not be able to put on the calibre of shows that we are known for.
